The San Diego Chargers may be without rookie Joey Bosa for their home opener in Week 2 of the NFL regular season.

With Week 2 of the NFL season about to kick off on Thursday, the Joey Bosa saga continues for the San Diego Chargers, who are still waiting to get their 2016 first round draft pick on the field. Bosa sat out practice again on Wednesday, and the team is preparing to open up their home slate without him on Sunday. He is currently dealing with a lingering hamstring injury, most likely from trying to get in shape after missing nearly all of the preseason.

One player who should be ready to go in Week 2 is Russell Wilson, who participated in practice on Wednesday. The Seattle Seahawks quarterback sprained his right ankle against the Miami Dolphins this past Sunday, as Ndamukong Suh stepped on it. The Seahawks offense was pretty stagnant in Week 1, but have a favorable match-up against the Los Angeles Rams this week.

New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz made a triumphant return to the lineup on Sunday, catching what turned out to be the game-winning touchdown pass from Eli Manning. On Wednesday, Cruz had some words for cornerback Josh Norman, who signed with NFC East rival Washington Redskins this offseason. Cruz said that Norman should have been covering Pittsburgh Steelers star wideout Antonio Brown during the Redskins Monday Night Football loss, stating, “You have to go cover the best receivers.” Cruz and the Giants will get two shots at Norman in 2016.

The Minnesota Vikings will host their first game at brand new U.S. Bank Stadium on Sunday, as they welcome the Green Bay Packers to town. The team will not name a starting quarterback for the game, though the Packers are preparing for Sam Bradford and not Shaun Hill. Bradford was traded to the Vikings during the last week of the preseason, and was not ready to start in Week 1. The Vikings started Hill during their season-opening win against the Tennessee Titans.

Finally, the New England Patriots may have star tight end Rob Gronkowski back for their Week 2 matchup against the division-rival Miami Dolphins. Gronk practiced on a limited basis on Wednesday, and is currently listed as questionable. The Pats were impressive in Week 1, beating the Arizona Cardinals on the road without Gronk, Tom Brady and both starting tackles.
