Lamar Jackson is unbelievable for the Louisville Cardinals. Here is the Heisman front-runner rushing for a 47-yard touchdown in a blowout of Florida State.

The Louisville Cardinals absolutely pasted the Florida State Seminoles in a blowout Week 3. Louisville destroyed the Florida State defense with well over 50 points in its huge victory over the Seminoles.

Louisville seems like the are for real in the early College Football Playoff picture. Florida State was the No. 2 team in the nation before getting blown out by Louisville. The Cardinals also might have the best player in the nation in sophomore sensation quarterback Lamar Jackson.

Jackson has carried this Cardinals offense to new heights in 2016. He spent the offseason mastering head coach Bobby Petrino’s lengthy playbook. It is paying off in dividends for the Louisville quarterback, as Jackson scampers into the Florida State end zone on a 47-yard touchdown run.

Already up 49-10 on Florida State early in the fourth quarter, Jackson runs one of his patented zone reads to the chagrin of the Seminoles defense. Jackson explodes past the front seven and into the Seminoles secondary for a huge gain.

He isn’t touched by a Seminoles defender until Jackson reaches the Florida State five-yard line. Jackson breaks the would-be tackler’s attempt, shakes him off with a spin move, and gets into the end zone on an impressive touchdown run for the Heisman front-runner.

With Jackson playing out of his mind in September, the Cardinals’ Week 5 date with the Clemson Tigers at Memorial Stadium has potential College Football Playoff implications. Should the Cardinals beat Clemson at their place, Louisville has an easy path to win the ACC Atlantic after knocking off their two primary divisional foes.
