Baltimore Ravens block Cleveland Browns’ PAT for safety (Video)

The Baltimore Ravens successfully block the Cleveland Browns’ point after attempt for a safety to make it 20-2 in favor of the Browns.
After scoring their third touchdown of the first quarter to go up 20-0 early, the Cleveland Browns have their point after attempt blocked by the Baltimore Ravens. Baltimore successfully picks up the blocked kick to return it for a two-point safety, making it 20-2 Cleveland.
This sort of thing would happen to the Browns. Cleveland has been as snake-bit of an NFL franchise the last decade plus. The Browns already lost their starting quarterback Robert Griffin, III for likely the season.
His backup Josh McCown had to go to the locker room after getting dinged up early. Cleveland can’t be ready for the Cody Kessler era to begin here in Week 2, right?
Baltimore has one of the oldest rosters in football, but the Ravens do have a savvy group of veterans that can galvanize the team defensively. The Ravens have been an elite defensive franchise since relocating from Cleveland to Maryland in 1996.
2015 was the first season that the NFL allowed blocked PATs to be returned for two-point safeties. This was a great move made by the NFL to make the PAT a more exciting play. It’s now a 30+ yard field goal attempt and should the defense block it, the football can be returned for a safety.
With the Cincinnati Bengals and the Pittsburgh Steelers feeling like AFC Playoff teams in the early part of 2016, both the Browns and Ravens need to win this game to keep pace in the AFC North.

Baltimore is 1-0 after beating the Buffalo Bills in Week 1. Cleveland is 0-1 after being crushed on the road by the Philadelphia Eagles. Neither of these teams look playoff caliber, but perhaps a Week 2 motivates either club the rest of the way.
