In Thursday’s NFL roundup, Josh Gordon has decided to enter rehab, as the Cleveland Browns wide receiver is looking to get his life in order.

The Cleveland Browns were hoping to get wide receiver Josh Gordon back from suspension in Week 5, but it looks like his return is going to take a bit longer. The wide receiver announced Thursday that he is entering an in-patient rehabilitation facility in an effort to “gain full control of my life.”

Gordon was once one of the best young receivers in the game, and unlike his former quarterback Johnny Manziel, appears to want to get his life right before worrying about football.

Bad news out of Houston, as star defensive end J.J. Watt had what is expected to be season-ending surgery on Thursday. Despite the three-time Defensive Player of the Year saying he plans to be back this season, the organization should not rush him.

He is only 27 years old, and has already had a bunch of work done on his back. It will remain to be seen if he is ever the same player after undergoing two back surgeries in a matter of months.

The Dallas Cowboys will be without Randy Gregory for much longer than was originally expected, as 10 games were tacked onto his suspension on Thursday. Gregory was already three games into a four-game suspension for violating the NFL’s Policy and Program for Substances of Abuse, and will now be unable to return until Dec. 19. The first game he could play in for the Cowboys this season would be the team’s Week 16 contest against the Detroit Lions on Monday, Dec. 26.
