The first wave of inactive players for Week 5 NFL action has come through. Bad news for the Miami Dolphins, as three key players are on out Sunday.
Injuries are part of the game of football. It’s only Week 5 of the 2016 NFL season, but some teams have been bit by the injury bug more than others. No team is more snake-bitten with injuries this season than the San Diego Chargers, but the Miami Dolphins might be a close second.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, three key inactives on Sunday are members of the Dolphins: running back Arian Foster, offensive tackle Branden Albert, and rookie offensive guard Laremy Tunsil. The Minnesota Vikings will also be without star wide receiver Stefon Diggs on Sunday.
Inactives today include Stefon Diggs, Arian Foster, Laremy Tunsil, Branden Albert.

Active: Eddie Royal, Quincy Enunwa, Julian Edelman.
Foster will be out for the Dolphins for the third straight week with a groin injury. He suffered that injury in Week 2’s loss to the New England Patriots. Without him, Miami will continue to struggle at running the football.
Albert suffered an ankle injury in Week 4’s loss on Thursday Night Football to the Cincinnati Bengals. The Dolphins thought that Albert would be good to go 10 days later against the Tennessee Titans, but that does not seem to be the case.
Tunsil is a surprising no-go for the Dolphins. Apparently he injured himself in pre-game warmups before the Dolphins’ game against the Titans. Miami’s offensive line looks to be absolutely barren for their Week 5 game with Tennessee.

Three players that Schefter pointed out that will play in Week 5 are Chicago Bears wide receiver Eddie Royal, New York Jets wide receiver Quincy Enunwa, and Patriots wideout Julian Edelman. Their active status should help their respective teams in the passing game in Week 5.
