Tim Tebow helped check on a fan that was suffering from a seizure during his Arizona Fall League debut.

After excelling in an instructional league for the New York Mets, outfielder Tim Tebow has moved on to the Arizona Fall League. With better competition and plenty of top prospects, Tebow will get a chance to show what he can do while playing for the Scottsdale Scorpions. With all eyes on him, Tebow made his debut on Tuesday.

While he showed tremendous effort in the field, the talk will be about what happened off the field. With plenty in attendance to see Tebow play, one fan began suffering from a seizure in the first row and collapsed. According to Adam Rubin, that’s when Tebow went over to check on the fan and made sure to wait until local medical personnel were on the seen to tend to the individual.

It’s not surprising that a player with the class of Tebow would make a gesture. Seeing someone collapse in such a fashion is an incredibly scary sight. Add in the unsettling warm temperatures that still plague the Phoenix area this time of year and the scene certainly was a good one.

While he still has plenty to show with his abilities on the field, he’s showing why he’s a tremendous asset to have off the field. Hopefully the fan will be alright.
