The dynamic rookie duo of Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott helped Dallas continue their winning ways in Week 6 of the NFL season.

The Dallas Cowboys are 5-1 through six weeks of teh 2016 NFL season, and much of it has to do with the play of their incredible rookies on offense. Quarterback Dak Prescott and running back Ezekiel Elliott have turned the Cowboys into a contender in the NFC, all while doing it in their first season in the NFL.

On Sunday, Elliott became the first rookie to run for 130 or more yards in four straight games, while Prescott broke Tom Brady’s NFL record for most passes without an interception to start his career with 163. The Boys won 30-16 over the Green Bay Packers in Lambeau.

Staying in the NFC East, it appears that Odell Beckham Jr. is back to torching NFL defenses. After scoring his first touchdown of the season last week, Beckham had a career-day on Sunday, racking up over 220 yards receiving. In total, OBJ caught eight balls for 222 yards, while scoring on two huge touchdowns, including the game-winner. The Giants beat the Ravens, 27-23.

Colin Kaepernick got his first start of the season on Sunday, and the results were pretty much what was expected. Kap showed a lot of rust against the Buffalo Bills, but did connect with Torrey Smith for a long touchdown in the first quarter.

The Buffalo faithful showed no mercy on the quarterback, who has owned the headlines with his protest of social injustice. The crowd chanted “USA,” while calling him out for being unpatriotic. The 49ers were trounced by the Bills, 45-16.

Good old Cam Newton was at it again on Sunday, as he showed that he still does not know how to have a press conference after a tough loss. Despite nearly bringing the Panthers all the way back from a 21-0 deficit, Newton was still short with reporters after the game, giving them no answers before walking off the podium. It was quite reminiscent of his Super Bowl 50 press conference after his team lost the big game to the Denver Broncos.

The Pittsburgh Steelers may be without quarterback Ben Roethlisberger for a while, as the signal-caller had an MRI on his left knee after the game. Big Ben was injured in the second quarter while running a bootleg, but did return to the game.

The Steelers suffered the biggest upset of the weekend, falling to the hapless Miami Dolphins on the road, 30-15. Roethlisberger requires surgery on his torn meniscus and there is no timetable for his return, which means Landry Jones will get the start against the New England Patriots.

Speaking of the New England Patriots, they are currently 5-1 on the season, and appear to be a steamroller ready for whoever is next. Since returning last week, Tom Brady already has six touchdown passes, and his return has done wonders for his favorite tight end.

Rob Gronkowski has once again become the most dominant tight end in the NFL since Brady’s return, and on Sunday, he set a career-high for yards with 162. In his two games with Brady this season, Gronk has 271 yards. The rest of the AFC should be very worried.
