Which NBA teams play on MLK Day?

Which NBA teams will be playing on Martin Luther King Day this season?

The NBA has many great traditions and really sticks true to heritage. Every year in January, the league honors the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Along with honoring his legacy, most of the league plays on MLK Day and there are always some highlight games.

This year, there will be 18 teams that play on MLK Day. Four of those games will be nationally televised. Two of those games will be on NBA TV and the other two games are broadcast on TNT and will feature two huge battles.

The NBA TV Games will feature the Atlanta Hawks traveling to face the New York Knicks. Both of these teams made big moves in free agency and they will hope to make it to the playoffs this season. This is an intriguing game. The latter NBA TV game will be between the New Orleans Pelicans and Indiana Pacers in Indianapolis.

Here’s where things get big on MLK Day. The Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors will play each other in a huge NBA Finals rematch in Golden State. It will be their last meeting of the season, until they potentially meet each other in the NBA Finals. The final TNT game of the Night will be the Los Angeles Clippers hosting the Oklahoma City Thunder.
