On Hockey Night In Canada this week, one of the best rivalries in the NHL will be on display. The Montreal Canadiens travel to the TD Garden to take on their biggest rival, the Boston Bruins, beginning at 7:00 PM. This will be the first matchup in the series in quite some time without former Habs defenseman P.K. Subban.

Montreal enters the game with a 3-0-1 record, good for seven points. They are currently in first place in the Atlantic Division. Though Carey Price missed the start of the season due to the flu, they got strong goaltending from Al Montoya. They’ve gotten balanced scoring, with six players tied for the team lead with four points and five players with two goals. Montreal ranks fifth in goals for and third in goals against.

On the other side of the ice, the Bruins enter the game with a 3-1-0 record, tied for second in the Atlantic Division. Brad Marchand has nine points, a team-high, while David Pastrnak has four goals. Even without Patrice Bergeron, who missed the first three games of the season, the Bruins have done well so far. Goaltender Tuukka Rask has a 1.67 goals against average with a .947 save percentage.
