Myles Turner showed us all once again why indeed he is one of the more feared young stars in the NBA

Right now in the NBA, there are a lot of young stars that we all are excited about. Indiana Pacers center Myles Turner is one of those young stars, and he just seems to get better and better with each game that passes — especially on the defensive side of the ball.

Tuesday night we saw the defensive talents of Myles Turner, and truth be told, Los Angeles Lakers bench player Tarik Black probably wishes that he wasn’t a part of the moment that we were once again awed by the talents of Turner.

During the game between the Pacers and Lakers on Tuesday night, Black, for some odd reason, thought it might be a good idea to attack the rim with Turner lurking down there. You would think that someone would know better, but you know, everyone wants to be famous and make a name for themselves.

Yeah, well, Turner made him famous alright.

See now? Not the best idea in the world for Black to make the challenge there, but nonetheless, he did and he paid the ultimate price for it. A lot of people are gonna know his name after tonight, but not for anything good like he would have hoped.

Again, though, it’s been incredible to watch the progression of Turner as a star of the Pacers. To think that he could only get better as his career goes along is a pretty damn scary thought.

But let’s just hope that in the future Black doesn’t try to be a hero again, but something tells me that he learned his lesson here.
