Western Michigan Broncos superstar senior wide receiver Corey Davis makes a ridiculous, leaping touchdown grab versus the Ball State Cardinals.

The Western Michigan Broncos are one of five undefeated teams in Division I football through Week 9. They are the No. 17 team in the AP Top 25 Poll and No. 23 in the first College Football Playoff rankings.

Western Michigan has an elite, up-and-coming head coach in P.J. Fleck and a potential first-round talent at wide receiver in Corey Davis. Watch Davis jump up in the air and grab a ridiculous touchdown over this poor Ball State Cardinals defensive back.

Davis caught the ball on a deep vertical route near the Cardinals’ end zone. Immediately after grabbing the football, he had his legs hit out from under him. Davis still came down with the touchdown catch — as he rowed the boat for Broncos.

Western Michigan has a great shot at getting to a New Year’s Six Bowl as a Group of 5 qualifier. Their biggest threat for that huge bowl bid has to be the Boise State Broncos. Boise State is a national power, but have one loss on the season in the Mountain West coming to the Wyoming Cowboys in Laramie.

Western Michigan does not have the pedigree of the Mountain West, but it the College Football Playoff Selection Committee would be hard pressed to not put an undefeated Western Michigan team into presumably the Cotton Bowl in Arlington.

Davis will be going pro at the end of this season, as it is his final year of eligibility in Kalamazoo. He should be a huge mid-first round get for a 2016 NFL Playoff team that needs help at wide receiver. The Kansas City Chiefs and the Seattle Seahawks immediately come to mind.
