NBA Odds: Wednesday’s opening lines

The NBA season officially has a full week under its belt, and the odds are that bettors will be well occupied with ten games on the docket Wednesday night.
Opening lines, which Vegas comes out with the day prior for the NBA, feature several anticipated tight contests, with just two of the ten having margins beyond seven points. Here are some of the highlights:
The Washington Wizards and Philadelphia 76ers both look for their first win of the season as they take on the Toronto Raptors and Charlotte Hornets, respectively.
James Harden and the Houston Rockets square off against the New York Knicks in a battle of two teams trying to find their identity. Harden has adapted quite nicely to his new role as point guard thus far, averaging 11.8 assists through four games to go along with 32.2 points.
New Hawk Dwight Howard looks to keep his team undefeated as they host his former employer, the L.A. Lakers.

The 3-1 Detroit Pistons hope to continue their momentum stemming from last season when they face Jeremy Lin and the struggling Brooklyn Nets (yes, it’s Lin’s team now).
The quintessential definition of “one-man show,” Anthony Davis looks to put his team on his shoulders once again for their first victory against the Memphis Grizzlies.
The new-look Chicago Bulls have bucked the naysayers so far as they enter tonight’s contest with the upstart Boston Celtics undefeated.
The 0-3 Dallas Mavericks and 0-4 Phoenix Suns will try to stop the bleeding against the Utah Jazz and Portland Trailblazers respectively.
Last but certainly not least is the game of the night: The L.A. Clippers and Oklahoma City Thunder will battle to knock the other off from the ranks of the undefeated.
