One of the most brutal hits in college football was delivered by an Arkansas player during a kick return play. Watching this hit will make you say “Ouch!”

The Arkansas Razorbacks are making a statement against the No. 11 Florida Gators. They lead, 21-7, in the third quarter and are playing ferocious football. Ferocious could not describe their latest special teams play more perfectly. Arkansas running back Damon Mitchell can be seen drilling Florida’s return specialist with one of the most vicious hits that you will ever see.

SEC football has often been characterized by its physical style of play, and Arkansas has certainly not disappointed in living up to this reputation. The Razorbacks are looking to maintain a winning record. It can be seen that playing in a tough conference is a big contributing factor to this. They will have to face No. 13 LSU at home before they travel to face Mississippi State, who recently upset No. 4 Texas A&M.

Meanwhile, the Gators offense has experienced a sluggish day. Quarterback Luke Del Rio has struggled to move the chains for the Gators. He has thrown two interceptions while not throwing a single touchdown pass.

The Gators have been relatively solid on offense with 29.4 points per game entering Saturday’s match against Arkansas. Unfortunately for them, their defense has not performed up to its usual standard. The Gators are a close second in scoring defense with 11.7 points allowed per game. This barely trails No. 2 Michigan, who have allowed a minuscule 11.6 points per game.

Despite things looking grim, the Gators have a slim chance to contend if they come back. However, Florida’s dreams of making the College Football Playoff will be all but dashed if they lose to Arkansas. This would mark their second loss of the season, as they previously lost to Tennessee.
