The Chicago Cubs have had one of the best weeks in history. They ended an 108-year curse and won the World Series, they celebrated in a parade with millions of people, and they got to sing with Bill Murray on Saturday Night Live.

If there’s something more beloved than Bill Murray and the Chicago Cubs on the planet right now, it probably doesn’t exist and you just made it up.

The magical week for the Cubs — who just clinched their first World Series in 108 years earlier this week — continued in New York on Saturday night with a couple skit appearances on NBC’s Saturday Night Live.

Of course, no Cubs skit on SNL is made unless Bill Murray is with him.

For the Weekend Update segment, the trio of Anthony Rizzo, David Ross and Dexter Fowler were joined by Murray to sing a rendition of the hit song “Go Cubs Go”, played after all Cub wins at Wrigley Field.

You can’t walk 10 feet in the city of Chicago without hearing this song, and after Saturday night, this rendition might get some more plays in the rotation across the city.

Based off this hilarious segment, it’s pretty clear that being a member of the Chicago Cubs has to be one of the best things ever after winning the World Series.

No one in the organization — especially someone like Rizzo — will ever have to pay for anything in Chicago ever again, and they get to appear on one of the most favorite shows in television history with one of the most beloved men in the entire world.
