When you beat the No. 2 team in the country on the road, you deserve to party. And that’s just what the Pitt Panthers did on Saturday after shocking Clemson.

Chris Blewitt’s 48-yard field goal with six seconds left gave Pitt a 43-42 lead over Deshaun Watson and No. 2 Clemson on the road Saturday, and the lead held to give the Panthers a shocking upset win over the Tigers.

Rightfully so, the Panthers headed for their locker room in high spirits, and the party began. It’s not going to end anytime soon either.

Have you ever wondered what a locker room looks like after an upset win like the one Pitt had against Clemson?

Here’s your answer.

Public Enemy once had a song called, “Don’t Believe the Hype”. The hype was real in the Pitt locker room on Saturday.

For Pitt, it was one of the biggest wins in the history of the program and their first victory over a top-5 opponent since 2007, when the Panthers knocked off then-No. 2 West Virginia and the explosive Mountaineer offense led by Pat White, 13-9.

When it comes to Clemson, the road to getting back to college football’s final game of the season just got a heck of a lot tougher. There’s still plenty of football left, but the Tigers have no choice but to win out, including winning another ACC Championship Game against Virginia Tech (most likely).

The Tigers’ win over Louisville will help if both teams finish as one-loss teams. Clemson could get some help from Michigan — who can ascend to No. 2 in the rankings with a win over Iowa on Saturday — if they beat Ohio State to end the season and if Washington slips up between now and the end of the year.
