Which teams are playing during the ESPN College Hoops Tip-Off Marathon?

It’s official. College basketball is back. After an exciting first few days, ESPN will get things going with their annual College Hoops Tip-Off Marathon. It will feature 13 games in just over 24 hours. Beginning on Monday at 6:00 PM EST, it will go through Tuesday evening for well over a day’s worth of basketball. But which teams are participating?

The action begins on Monday at 6:00 PM ESET with a doubleheader of women’s basketball games. #4 Connecticut will square off against #15 Florida State in a match between two of the best women’s basketball teams in the country. #6 Texas will face #10 Stanford in a battle between two teams many believe could win the national title. Following those two games, the men’s basketball action will start with a 10:00 PM EST game when Princeton visits Brigham Young University.

Tuesday’s action starts with a midnight battle between San Diego State and Gonzaga, two West Coast teams. The Green Bay Phoenix will travel to Stockton, California to face the Pacific Tigers at 2:00 AM EST. Florida Atlantic will have a heck of a road trip, traveling all the way to Hawaii to take on the Rainbow Warriors for a 4:15 AM game.

Niagara will travel to Hartford for a battle between two Northeast teams at 6:30 AM. Winthrop travels to Manhattan for a showdown at 8:45 AM. College hoops fans will get an early look at one of the darlings from the 2016 NCAA Tournament when Longwood travels to Texas to face Stephen F. Austin University at 11 AM. #10 Oregon will travel to Texas to take on the Baylor Bears at 3:30 PM.

Fans will get two primetime games to end the College Hoops Tip-off Marathon. Starting at 7:00 PM EST, the #3 Kentucky Wildcats will square off against the #13 Michigan State Spartans. Finally, the Duke Blue Devils will face the Kansas City Jayhawks in a battle between two of the top four teams in the nation.
