Which NHL teams are featured on NBCSN this week?

After last week had just one national broadcast featuring NHL teams on NBCSN, this week there will be two games once again. There will be two playoff rematches this week, with both games featuring teams who played each other in the Stanley Cup playoffs last season.

Tuesday will feature a rematch of the first round matchup between the Detroit Red Wings and the Tampa Bay Lightning. Tampa will travel up to Joe Louis Arena for one of their last showdowns with Detroit in the historic arena. The Lightning will be at a slight disadvantage, as they are playing the New York Islanders on Monday. Both teams have 17 points entering the week, though Tampa has played one less game than Detroit.

The last time these two teams squared off, the Lightning won 6-4. It was the first game of the season for both teams. Nikita Kucherov and Steven Stamkos will lead Tampa into battle. Meanwhile, Henrik Zetterberg and Dylan Larkin will led Detroit as they try to take advantage of a likely fatigued Tampa team. The puck will drop at 7:30 PM.

The Caps will enter Wednesday’s game after playing the Columbus Blue Jackets on the road on Tuesday, meaning Pittsburgh will have an advantage.
