These events could continue to plummet the College Football Playoff into chaos in Week 12.

After Week 11 of the College Football season put a huge dent in the College Football Playoff, Week 12 is here to wreak havoc. With teams looking to not slide any further and the playoff committee hoping their job doesn’t get any tougher, there is plenty of potential for more chaos this week.

It’s unlikely that three teams in the top four of the ranking will lose again, but there’s always the chance that one of them will go down. Louisville has already lost this week and the committee has lost a safety net they can rely on. Let’s look at the chaos scenarios for Week 12.

5. Louisville has already lost

As aforementioned, the Louisville Cardinals have already lost. Houston made quick work of them at home and their playoff chances are all but done. That means that there will be no Lamar Jackson on the big stage this year in the College Football Playoff.

It also means that there is a safety net off the board for the committee before they have to start looking at two-loss teams. The Cardinals winning out would have helped put the pressure on the teams in front them, but it doesn’t matter anymore.
