Live stream and how to watch UNLV (4-6) at No. 20 Boise State (9-1) on television and online on Friday, November 18.

No. 20 Boise State needs a few stars to align in order to make it to the New Year’s Six bowl. The Broncos may be rolling in the polls with a spot at No. 20, but the Mountain West has been a powerhouse this season and San Diego State is a huge deciding factor in Boise State’s future. Boise State’s path to the Mountain West title game means a loss for Wyoming against either San Diego State or New Mexico.

This assumes that the Broncos win their next two games against UNLV and Air Force. If those stars line up then they’ll face San Diego State for the Mountain West title, and if all of those things happen they’ll have a shot at a New Year’s Day bowl game.

Despite UNLV’s record, the Rebels have been surging lately and if they win their last two games then they will still be bowl eligible. Winning a nationally televised game against a nationally ranked team would be a huge accomplishment for the young team that looks to develop into a big contender. The odds are stacked against UNLV given their 5-37 record against nationally ranked teams, but if this season has taught us anything, it’s that literally anything can happen.

UNLV is dealing with several injuries across positions, which will pose a challenge against surging Broncos quarterback Brett Rypien, who has 22 touchdowns and only 6 picks this season. UNLV’s Torry McTyer knows how to look for weak spots, having notched two interceptions in last week’s win over Wyoming. Both teams have a lot on the line in this game and if UNLV comes to play, fans can expect a fun game to watch.
