Navy’s Jamir Tillman makes spectacular catch vs East Carolina (Video)

Navy Midshipmen wide receiver Jamir Tillman channels his inner Odell Beckham Jr. to come down with this insane catch against the East Carolina Pirates.
Oh, baby, it’s a wild world. Yes, the Navy Midshipmen can do more than run the triple option on the gridiron. In 2016, the Midshipmen are occasionally slinging the pigskin.
On Saturday evening against the East Carolina Pirates in Greenville, Navy wide receiver Jamir Tillman comes down with one of the most ridiculous catches of the 2016 college football season. It had shades Odell Beckham Jr. in it. Maybe it’s a good enough of grab to have Beckham’s envy?
While there was no TD for the Tillman, this crazy cat’s grab cannot go unnoticed. The Midshipmen are 7-2 on the year and lead the AAC West in 2016. Though they are not going to get the Group of 5 New Year’s Six bowl bid, this team is playing great football as a mid-major program.
Navy is gradually becoming more than just a service academy, the Midshipmen are putting together one of the better football programs at the Group of 5 level. Last year, quarterback Keenan Reynolds entered the Heisman Trophy conversation. Now, he’s on the NFL’s Baltimore Ravens.
Tillman is a senior in Annapolis. While he does play at a service academy, he did play his high school football at a Nevada power house in Bishop Gorman in Las Vegas. Navy isn’t a flashy football program, but that grab out Tillman’s has put focus on the Midshipmen’s football program at least through Army/Navy in a few weeks.

Tillman has become the face of Navy football heading into the always exciting Army/Navy game in a few weeks. Army is a bowl-caliber team. This is gearing up to be one of the best games in recent history for one of the best rivalries in college football.
