South Carolina vs Western Carolina live stream: Watch online
By John Buhler
The South Carolina Gamecocks will host the Western Carolina Catamounts on Saturday. Here is how to watch this game online.
It’s already Week 12 of the 2016 college football season. One of the games happening on Saturday will be between the Western Carolina Catamounts (2-8) and the South Carolina Gamecocks (5-5).
Kickoff from Williams-Brice Stadium in Columbia will be at 4:00 p.m. ET on Nov. 19. The SEC Network will have the telecast. The available live stream can be found on WatchESPN.
While most of the country will overlook this game, it’s a huge opportunity for Will Muschamp’s South Carolina Gamecocks. With a win over FCS Western Carolina, the Gamecocks will reach bowl eligibility with their sixth victory of the season.
South Carolina was projected to be one of the worst teams in the SEC in 2016. It was a certain rebuilding effort that Muschamp and his staff had to undertake. Eventually, Muschamp was going to get it right, but few outside of Darius Rucker thought that South Carolina was going to reach 6-6.
The Gamecocks are winning with defense, Muschamp’s specialty, as well as getting solid play from true freshman quarterback Jake Bentley. South Carolina still struggles to score points, but its defense always keeps the Gamecocks in close ball games.

South Carolina should handle Western Carolina easily in this game. However, the Gamecocks still need to take care of business to get to 6-5, as a win in Week 13 over the arch rival Clemson Tigers of the ACC seems a bit out of reach.
