Twitter went into a frenzy after Goldberg absolutely obliterated Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series on Sunday night in Toronto.
OK, so … Goldberg beat Brock Lesnar.
And, I don’t just mean beat Lesnar.
He destroyed him about two minutes.
In one of the most shocking finishes in WWE history, Goldberg defeating Brock Lesnar after two Spears and a Jackhammer to beat The Beast Incarnate for the second time after a 12-year absence.
The scene was set for a classic, but Goldberg had no plans for a war.
After Lesnar jumped on the attack with a double-leg pickup to send Goldberg into the corner tp kick off the match, Goldberg answered with a severe shove that knocked Lesnar to the match, which got Lesnar laughing like the animal he is.
That was followed by not one, but two Spears from Goldberg, and the match-ending Jackhammer.
The reaction was stunning, and Twitter had some things to say … or tweet.

It may have not been the longest match in history, but it was definitely one of the most shocking matches in the history of WWE.
Is this the end of the line for Goldberg? He said when he accepted the challenge that Brock Lesnar was last, but is this really it for “The Man”? He looked like he was in ridiculous shape after 12 years away. Could he have one more match in him?
What about Brock Lesnar? Since Lesnar ended The Undertaker’s streak at WrestleMania XXX, he’s been a man possessed, and even won a bout at UFC 200 in the middle of his dominance. (There were some circumstances after that bout, but you get the idea. He’s been a beast.)

There’s no telling if a third match will happen (or something else), but one thing’s for sure: nobody saw what happened on Sunday night coming.
