With a lot of the college football regular season coming to a close this weekend, Tuesday brought us one of the last editions of the College Football Playoff rankings

It always seems to move a little too fast for our liking, but sadly the college football season here in 2016 is coming to a close. With that being the case here late in the month of November, the College Football Playoff rankings become more and more important.

Last week, after all of the chaos that ensued in Week 11, many wondered what the College Football Playoff rankings would look like. Well, last Tuesday we found out that the biggest change in the rankings would be the Ohio State Buckeyes jumping right into the No. 2 slot right behind the clear No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide. Despite being upset by Iowa, the Michigan Wolverines stayed put at No. 3, while the Clemson Tigers grabbed the No. 4 spot after Washington was defeated by USC.

In Week 12, however, there wasn’t any chaos at all. Alabama rolled over Chattanooga, Ohio State survived a scare from Michigan State, Michigan took care of Indiana in the snow and Clemson had no issues with Wake Forest.

With Louisville’s blowout loss to Houston last Thursday night, really, the rankings may look exactly the same as we head into Week 13 of the season this Thanksgiving weekend.
