Which NHL teams are playing on NBCSN this week starting on November 28?

Every week, NBCSN broadcasts several NHL games nationally. For the last week of November, it will feature three games. Two of those three games will feature rivalry matchups between divisional foes. The other will feature one of the oldest and best rivalries in hockey.

On Tuesday Nov. 29, the Philadelphia Flyers will host the Boston Bruins for a 7:30 p.m. ET opening faceoff. This rivalry goes back to the 1970’s, when the big Bad Bruins constantly squared off against the Broad Street Bullies. Even today, it’s still a great battle whenever they play. The Bruins and Flyers are both out of the playoffs entering the week, but it should still be an excellent game. David Pastrnak and Brad Marchand lead Boston while Jakub Voracek and Claude Giroux lead Philadelphia.

Wednesday, as is tradition, will feature a doubleheader of hockey. At 8:00 p.m. ET, the New York Islanders will host the Pittsburgh Penguins. The two Atlantic Division foes are heading in opposite directions. While the Islanders enter the week in last place in the league, the Penguins find themselves in second place in the division. The last time these two teams played, Pittsburgh won in overtime. Sidney Crosby leads the Penguins while John Tavares will try to lead the Islanders to a much-needed win.

For the second end of the doubleheader, the San Jose Sharks will face the Los Angeles Kings starting at 10:30 p.m. ET. This has developed into quite the fierce rivalry. Until last season, the Kings had dominated the Sharks, especially in the postseason. However, San Jose sent a message by beating Los Angeles in the playoffs in five games. Both teams are competing for the top spot in the Pacific Division, which has been hotly contested so far.
