The Villanova Wildcats face the Penn Quakers at The Palestra in college basketball action on Tuesday. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

College basketball is full of great rivalries throughout the sport. You think of Duke-North Carolina, Kentucky-Louisville, and so on when talking about that kind of thing. However, there are also some rivalries that don’t get as much shine. And the schools in Philadelphia, PA and the surrounding suburbs squaring off is a great example of that. So when the Villanova Wildcats and Penn Quakers face off on Tuesday night, there’s going to be passion and tension on display.

Jay Wright’s Villanova squad enters the 2016-17 season as the defending national champs. What’s more, they have the heart of that team’s backcourt back once again in Josh Hart and Kris Jenkins. At 6-0 through the start of the new season, the Wildcats are the No. 2-ranked team in the country and deservedly so. However, they have to avoid slip-ups if they’re to stay there.

On the opposite bench on Tuesday, Penn clearly isn’t the same caliber of team as Nova. That said, AJ Brodeur and Caleb Wood are both highly talented players that can find success against any team in the country. They’ll need to do that and more on Tuesday as they take on their Philadelphia rivals.
