As the Florida Gators were getting rolled by the Alabama Crimson Tide, Taven Bryan decided to get himself kicked out of the game

To say that things didn’t go so well for the Florida Gators in the SEC Championship Game on Saturday against the Alabama Crimson Tide would be the understatement of the century. They were completely outmatched by the vaunted Crimson Tide, just as we all suspected throughout the week.

So, with Florida getting embarrassed in Atlanta by Alabama, you knew that some tensions were going to start running high. That is exactly what happened with Florida defensive tackle Taven Bryan, and he paid the price for it.

During the fourth quarter as Alabama was rolling, Bryan grabbed Tide running back Joshua Jacobs, and he proceeded to slam him down to the ground with his best Brock Lesnar impression.

Yeah, there was really no question about that one. Sometimes on personal fouls you can make a case either way, but there is really only one direction to go here. That was uncalled for by Bryan and he deserved to be ejected from the game for that play.

But, again, things are not going so well for Florida, so this is to be expected. When you’re playing in one of the biggest games of the year and you’re getting smoked, you’re gonna start to take your frustration out. Some players are just better at doing that than others.

Bryan had his day end early in Atlanta, and all things considered, he might be better off just cooling down in the locker room.
