Klay Thompson was red hot once again on Monday night, torching the Pacers for 40 points … in a half!

Whether you love them or hate them, one thing that you simply cannot deny is that some of the feats the Golden State Warriors players pull off are absurd. Monday night we got another jaw-dropping individual performance from a member of this team, with Klay Thompson wowing us all once again.

Monday night in Oracle Arena Thompson and the Warriors are taking on the Indiana Pacers and, well, Thompson decided that he would like to put this game out of reach in a hurry. How would he do that, you ask?

Well, it’s simple. He’ll just go out there and drop a 40-spot on them in the first half. Yes, 40 points from Klay on Monday night in just 24 minutes of play.

Here’s every single highlight from this historical performance.

Just watching that you can’t do anything really but just shake your head. There are players who get hot in the NBA from time to time, but then there’s Klay Thompson. He doesn’t just get hot sometimes — he just literally bursts into a ball of flames right there on the court and starts eviscerating everything in sight.

And to think, when the Warriors acquired Kevin Durant this summer, there were some who believed that Thompson might become somewhat of an afterthought. That notion really is funny now when you think back on it.

No, ladies and gentlemen, when you can shoot the lights out of the gym like this, there is nothing in the world that can put you on the back burner. Thompson will always find a way to get him to the forefront with performances such as this.
