Michigan Wolverines head coach Jim Harbaugh isn’t into the idea of him to the Los Angeles Rams. He said, “[the NFL rumors] are lies made up by our enemies.”

One could argue that Michigan Wolverines head coach Jim Harbaugh has a dream job. He is leading not only a blue-blood football program, but the University of Michigan happens to be his alma mater.

Harbaugh is universally respected as one of the best football coaches, college or pro. He has won at every stop along the way from the San Diego Toreros, the Stanford Cardinal, the San Francisco 49ers and now at Michigan.

However, Harbaugh never stays anywhere for far too long. While he’s only in his second season as the head coach at Michigan, Harbaugh has been thrown on the coaching carousel rumor mill for the latest high-profile vacancy with the Los Angeles Rams.

Harbaugh is too busy in preparing for the Capital One Orange Bowl to comment on the matter. He did relay a message to senior defensive tackle Ryan Glasgow on the issue. Glasgow said, ‘[Harbaugh] said, ‘(I’ll keep this) short, sweet, and to the point: I’m not leaving.’ He said, (the NFL rumors) are ‘lies made up by our enemies.‘”

Like Michigan State? Penn State? Ohio State? Certainly all three Big Ten East rivals would love to see Harbaugh go back to the NFL. One has to suspect that Harbaugh will get the itch to go back to the NFL at some point.

The Rams job could be appealing to Harbaugh, as he would be back in California, get to coach franchise quarterback Jared Goff and compete against Pete Carroll and the San Francisco 49ers a combined four times in the NFC West.

These rumors of Harbaugh to the Rams were made up by one of two parties: 1.) a Big Ten East rival program who wants him out of the conference. 2.) Harbaugh’s agent to drive up his salary to stay in Ann Arbor.

Los Angeles be too hot for khakis anyway…
