South Carolina Chick-fil-A locations are selling Clemson Tiger paw biscuits on Monday in support of the team in their National Championship Game.

The debate about where Chick-fil-A ranks among fast food restaurants can come later, but they certainly have won over the hearts of many Clemson fans this week.

South Carolina Chick-fil-A restaurants will honor the Tigers with paw print biscuits on Monday in honor of the team playing in the College Football Playoff National Championship Game against Alabama.

We don’t know if Alabama locations will be doing the same to pay respect to the local Crimson Tide or not. So if you’re a fan of Clemson and a fan of chicken biscuits, you should have your breakfast at Chick-fil-A on Monday morning to set the stage for what promises to be a great football game.

Clemson is looking for revenge this year after losing in last year’s title game to the Crimson Tide by five points. Alabama was No. 2 in the country at the time when they knocked off Deshaun Watson and the Tigers, 45-40 to win their 16th National Championship in school history.

This season, Clemson enters as the No. 3 seed and Alabama is the top seed after going through the regular season undefeated. Alabama is an early 6.5 point favorite over Clemson. The 2016-17 National Championship Game will air on ESPN, Monday, January 9 at 8:30 p.m. ET and will be played at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay, Florida.

We will get to see if the support of the chicken biscuit sandwich will be enough to give Clemson an outright win and their second national championship, and first since 1981. Or, have we begun the curse of the biscuit? Time will tell.

If Clemson wins, we have to wonder if Chick-fil-A will sell some more Tiger Paw biscuits on Tuesday morning to celebrate the school’s first title in 35 years.
