Aaron Rodgers got unbelievable blocking from his offensive line and got the Green Bay Packers on the board with a strike to Davante Adams.

The Green Bay Packers and New York Giants played the textbook definition of a playoff game early during their NFC Wild Card Round battle on Sunday. Points were hard to come by and the weather conditions were making it incredibly difficult for both teams. That didn’t stop Aaron Rodgers from making yet another beautiful touchdown pass for the Packers.

As Rodgers dropped back, he got an unbelievable push up front from his offensive line and he had time to work his magic in the pocket. Rodgers scrambled around within the pocket for a lengthy amount of time and finally found Davante Adams open in the end zone.

Adams did a great job of finally being able to break away from Coty Sensabaugh. He made a difficult catch and was able to hold on. It was great coverage by the Giants to ultimately keep Rodgers from throwing for so long, but their inability to get to him cost them in the end.

Playoff football games are won in the trenches and giving the quarterback plenty of time to throw is an absolute must. Rodgers is one of those quarterbacks where he has the footwork to add even additional time and this was yet another of those plays people come to expect from him.

The game was a defensive battle in every sense of the term and points came at a premium. With both teams failing to score a touchdown, Rodgers did what he does best and came through for his team in the clutch.
