Aaron Rodgers unloaded yet another Hail Mary and the Green Bay Packers extended their lead over the New York Giants in the NFC Wild Card Round.

After a certain point, it almost becomes ridiculous what Aaron Rodgers is able to do when he gets the football in his hands. After elevating his legend with two incredible Hail Mary completions last season, the Green Bay Packers quarterback did it again on Sunday.

With the Packers trying to get some points on the board before the end of the second half against the New York Giants, Rodgers decided to heave one up again. New York’s secondary didn’t get deep enough and that allowed for Randall Cobb to get premium position in the end zone. Cobb would go up and bring down the ball to mark yet another miraculous throw by Rodgers.

There’s something to be said about the all-time greats when it comes to quarterback, but to throw Hail Mary’s with such precision and ease is an amazing feat. These aren’t just passes that are completed every game.

It’s one of the hardest plays to pull off and it fails more often than not. Don’t tell Rodgers and the Packers that however, as they seem to be easy to them. This was a game between the two in the NFC Wild Card Round that started off as a defensive struggle and appeared destined for little highlights.

Instead, Rodgers got it rolling in the second quarter of the game and put the team on his back. This prayer of a play came right after he managed to get great protection and scramble around to find Davante Adams for a touchdown. In a game where points are hard to come by in the bitter cold, this is a tough play to give up for New York.
