Will Fuller blew it royally with one of the worst drops you’ll ever see by a wide receiver.

The Houston Texans had a perfect opportunity to get back in this game with the New England Patriots. Wide receiver Will Fuller prevented any chance of that happening in the third quarter with a jaw-dropping dropped pass.

Texans quarterback Brock Osweiler made a flawless throw to Fuller, but Fuller dropped the ball after having it in his hands. Here is a video for you to see one of the most cringeworthy drops ever.

Fuller has been held to three catches for 16 yards by the Patriots, continuing his lackluster rookie season. The former Notre Dame star seemed destined for a strong rookie year after a promising start. However, Fuller faded away and limped to a weak finish with just 635 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Subpar quarterback play has certainly not helped Fuller’s transition to the NFL, but plays like this simply cannot be excused in a playoff game. The Texans trail the Patriots 31-16 early in the fourth quarter. Fortunately for the Texans, their defense came through with an interception of quarterback Tom Brady. Brady has thrown an interception for the second time due to a tipped pass.

However, the Texans were unable to turn their second interception into a touchdown. Kicker Nick Novak kicked his third field goal of the night, demonstrating the Texans’ lack of offensive firepower. It remains to be seen whether the Texans can continue to hold off a strong Patriots offense. It would be a giant shocker to see this Patriots team fall down against one of the biggest underdogs in NFL playoff history, though.
