Devin Booker hit a go-ahead three-pointer with 31 seconds left, sending the Phoenix Suns bench into a frenzy.

Another game, another great performance by Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker.

It’s becoming the norm for the second-year player out of Kentucky. Booker, who was the Suns’ 13th overall pick last year, is averaging 30 points per game over his last five contests.

On Saturday night, Booker was at it again, hitting the go-ahead three-pointer for the Suns in a 107-105 win over the New York Knicks.

Down one, with 31 seconds to play, Booker buried a deep three from the right side, essentially putting the game out of reach for the Knicks.

Although it was a great shot, I think it’s fair to say that the bench’s reaction was even better. Rarely used forward Alan Williams led the charge on the Suns bench, going into a frenzy like none other.

Talk about energy.

If Williams has that much gusto on the bench, maybe head coach Earl Watson should consider playing him more. Maybe not. Either way, Williams’ antics are earning him a reputation as a solid “glue” guy. Expect him to stick around the NBA for a long time.

As for the New York Knicks, could things get any worse?

Constant trade talks and mounting losses have the “super team” experiment looking worse and worse for the Knicks. Three years into Phil Jackson’s tenure as president, it’s obvious that his time as an executive is an epic failure.

It would be in James Dolan’s best interest to blow the entire thing up. Get Carmelo Anthony, Phil Jackson, and Derrick Rose as far away from Madison Square Garden as possible and build around Kristaps Porzingis.

And, for the sake of morale, maybe sign Alan Williams?
