After missing a layup to take the lead, Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James drilled a bank shot to tie the game late against the Washington Wizards.

No one should ever doubt LeBron James when he gets the basketball in his hands. Even when he misses a key shot, James somehow finds a way to come back and make a ridiculous one to make up for it.

With the Washington Wizards and Cleveland Cavaliers engaged in a classic on Monday night, James made up for a key miss.As the Cavaliers had a chance to take the lead on the Wizards late, James had an open layup and missed the shot.

The Cavaliers would have to foul and the Wizards would go up three. With no timeouts left, the Cavaliers would have to go the stretch of the floor in three seconds for the tie. Kevin Love threw a crazy outlet pass to James, who caught it and fired it off the glass for a ridiculous bank shot to send the game to overtime.

The power he shot that with shows the way that he played angry there and got the job done. Just after he missed an open layup and was likely going to be the subject of criticism from those ready to pounce, James made the key shot to get his team into an extra frame on the road.
