Leave it to The Hoodie to make a Super Bowl parade no fun.

The party is on in Boston today as the Super Bowl champion New England Patriots have returned home from Houston with their fifth title. Video has surfaced throughout the day following the Pats’ parade, but I’m not so sure you will find anything more interesting than what Bill Belichick tried to accomplish.

Known best for his no nonsense coaching style and personality, Belichick is often emotionless on the sideline and appears as though he is at a funeral. It’s hard to criticize the man who now has the most rings ever for an NFL head coach, but c’mon Bill, really?

Is this really necessary during a Super Bowl parade:

I can’t say I am shocked by what Belichick tried to do here, but did he really think a “No Days Off” chant would stick with a rowdy Boston crowd? Most championship teams really aren’t focused on next season just after winning the big game. But don’t tell Belichick that.

If you’re reading this and find it to be a joke, you probably shouldn’t. Belichick hinted after winning Super Bowl LI on Sunday that the Pats are in a predicament: “As great as today feels … we’re five weeks behind the other teams for the 2017 season.” I swear that sometimes he is just playing a sick game with all of us. You have to love the non-stop work mentality from a leader, but this is taking it to a whole new level.

After capturing a fifth Super Bowl victory, it is hard to crown anyone else as the best coach of all time. Although the shady history behind his New England dynasty will always be frowned upon, it is no accident his team finds itself in the AFC Championship or Super Bowl every year. With that being said, lighten up Coach Belichick.
