Get a sneak peak at the all-new Justice League of America available tomorrow.

Tomorrow, it’s the pay-off everybody who was reading DC’s first big post-Rebirth crossover event, Justice League vs. Suicide Squad, has been waiting for. That’s the launch of an all new Justice League of America with the very first issue available tomorrow, February 8.

This JLA will be very different from any previous incarnation. First, Batman will be the leader, though he’ll still stay on the main Justice League roster. If you are keeping count, that is at least three teams Batman, the crazy loner of the DC Universe who doesn’t work with anybody, is a member of.

The rest of the team consists of former villain and former Suicide Squad member Killer Frost, former member of the very first Suicide Squad and outer space bounty hunter Lobo (thankfully not New 52 Lobo), Black Canary, Vixen, The Ray and The Atom. I actually think Batman is just about the only guy in the DC universe who might get such an eclectic group like this to work together and eventually gel as a team.

Now what is the difference between the JLA and the regular Justice League aside from the lineup? Well the general synopsis for the book, the “mission statement” if you will, gives some nonsense about this league going to places where there is no hope and inspiring some. But also, Microverse! Because The Atom is a part of the team, of course they will go to the Microverse.

The line-up is more than enough to intrigue me but hopefully it will really establish itself as a book that feels different but equal to the regular Justice League. Justice League of America: Rebirth #1 is available tomorrow, February 8.
