What time will the 2017 WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view begin?

The Elimination Chamber pay-per-view is returning for the first time since 2015, when it was a live special in May of that year. Before that, this event had been in place since 2010, playing off Eric Bischoff’s original introduction of the structure that had been sparingly used since 2002.

The 2017 Elimination Chamber show is set to take place at the Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix, AZ. It’s SmackDown’s first exclusive Sunday special since TLC in December 2016. Unlike that show, we will see John Cena in action. He’ll defend the WWE Championship that he won at the Royal Rumble. Dean Ambrose, Baron Corbin, the Miz, AJ Styles, and Bray Wyatt will all contend for the belt inside the Elimination Chamber in the main event of the show.

With those six battling, Randy Orton will be waiting for them at WrestleMania 33 after winning the 2017 Royal Rumble match. He’ll face whoever wins the WWE Championship.

In the meantime, Orton will still have a match at Elimination Chamber. He’ll face Luke Harper, who recently defected from the Wyatt Family. These two have battled it out over the past month, leading to them colliding at the Royal Rumble and on SmackDown. Which Superstar will walk out of this match with momentum?

Another match taking place will see Dolph Ziggler vs. Apollo Crews and Kalisto in a handicap match. It’s a unique scenario because the heel is on the solo side and it’s usually the other way around. Can Ziggler fend off both Crews and Kalisto?

At 7:00 p.m. ET, the Elimination Chamber Kickoff Show will take place. The only match pre-advertised for this is Mojo Rawley taking on Curt Hawkins.

One hour later, at 8:00 p.m ET, the main show will start. This will see seven matches take place across the 2-3 hour event. All of it can be seen on PPV or the WWE Network.
