Taco Charlton

DE, Michigan

The Miami Dolphins had an incredible 2016 NFL season, as they were arguably the hottest team in the league for the better half of the season half of the season. The wheels kind of fell off the wagon late in the year, as quarterback Ryan Tannehill injured his knee and had to miss the final few games. Miami had to play their wild card round game with Matt Moore at quarterback, as they were quickly disposed of by the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Heading toward the draft, the Dolphins need to add some depth to the defensive end position. Veteran Mario Williams has likely already played his best football, and the team needs to add someone to go alongside star Cameron Wake on the outside. The Dolphins front could be a serious strength if they could add a player of Taco Charlton’s talent, as they try to repeat on their success of this past season.

Charlton is a special player, who showed just how versatile he can be on the bigger stages this season. He was all over the field in the team’s loss to the Ohio State Buckeyes, but the scouts took notice when he ran down a running back from across the field. He may actually move to linebacker at the next level, but one thing is for sure, he is definitely a first round talent.
