Kadeem Allen rocked the whole arena with this game tying slam dunk

Kadeem Allen just had one of the nastiest dunks of the tournament. With Arizona down two points, Saint Mary’s brought the ball up to try and extend their lead even further. They wanted to be the next team to knock off a top seed on this crazy Saturday. Arizona wanted to make sure that couldn’t happen. When Allen saw his chance he took it and ran with it — literally.

Saint Mary’s stumbled and lost their dribble giving Allen time to steal it and run the other direction. With a man at his hip the entire time Allen used superior strength and athleticism to throw down a monster dunk. The defender tried to contest it and maybe get a lucky block, but instead he found himself on a poster as Allen threw down a dunk that Arizona fans are going to be talking about for a long time.

You know it’s a great dunk when the rim rattling can be heard over the eruption of the crowd. This was a literal arena rocker as everybody jumped from their feet after Allen threw it down, but more importantly it tied the game. This dunk felt like one of those momentum changers that can completely move a game in the other team’s favor as they build on the energy from that. Think about it, the crowd is excited and they want more of it. Arizona needs to feed off that and use it to carry them to a huge win.

Then of course there’s Saint Mary’s. They can’t let themselves get rattled after a highlight play like this. The crowd might be excited and they’re the underdog, but it’s still a tie game and they’re a quality team. Rebound back, move forward, and pull off the upset to go dancing in the Sweet 16. It’s right there for the taking.
