South Carolina Gamecocks head coach Frank Martin gets completely drenched by his players in the locker room after they make it to their first Final Four.

Chaos has ensued in the 2017 NCAA Tournament. People call it March Madness for a reason. Upsets happen in every round and there has been no bigger Cinderella story this tournament than with Frank Martin’s Gamecocks.

Since his arrival at South Carolina a few years back, Martin has helped transformed this once-hopeless basketball program to one of the better teams in the SEC. After entering the 2017 NCAA Tournament as a No. 7 seed, South Carolina has found itself heading to the Final Four in Phoenix.

South Carolina is losing its collective mind after the Gamecocks’ thrilling Elite Eight victory over major SEC rival Florida. Here are Martin’s South Carolina players completely drenching him with water and what not in celebration in their locker room post-game.

By the time that the Gamecock players were done dousing their head coach with water, he looked like Arizona Wildcats head coach Sean Miller when the panic sets in and the white cotton shirt became translucent.

South Carolina still has two more games before the Gamecocks can claim their first National Championship in men’s hoops. However, their road to Phoenix is quickly becoming the stuff of legend. In nearby Greenville, the Gamecocks thwarted ACC power Duke in the Round of 32.

South Carolina wasn’t done winning after beating the Blue Devils. On Friday, the Gamecocks hammered Baylor by 20 points in the Sweet 16. If that wasn’t enough, they went out and beat their major football rival Florida by seven points to keep on dancing.

Seeing Gonzaga and Oregon clinch Final Four berths were impressive, but none was more improbable than what Martin’s Gamecocks did to get to Phoenix. That soaked shirt of Martin’s needs to hang with pride somewhere on campus in Columbia this upcoming week.
