WWE is promising a Superstar Shakeup on the April 10 episode of RAW, but who’s reportedly going to be on the move?

On the famed WWE RAW after WrestleMania, Vince McMahon himself came out to the ring to attend to some business. Part of that was to announce Kurt Angle as the new general manager of RAW, replacing the fired Mick Foley. However, the other portion of his announcement was that there will be a Superstar Shake-Up on the April 10 episode. That was then furthered by Shane McMahon on SmackDown Live.

Subsequently, there has been a plethora of speculation about which superstars could be involved. Will it be top guys that are on the move? If so, which of the main-event talents will be going where? There’s also been the simple possibility that nothing major would happen. However, recent reports indicate that won’t be the case.

On the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Radio from Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez, Meltzer reported a few names that will be moved during the Superstar Shake-Up. The biggest name is that of AJ Styles, who reportedly will be heading to RAW. Meltzer also added that Roman Reigns won’t be swapped with Styles and will remain with the red brand. Styles is one of the hottest acts in WWE right now, so trying to increase the eyes that are on RAW could theoretically be aided by bringing him over.

As for who could be joining SmackDown Live, Meltzer reported that the current plan is for the New Day to make their way to Tuesday nights. With a crowded tag division on RAW, that’s a move that makes sense as well. They’ll get the chance to get in the ring more often on the blue brand, while also bringing their showmanship that you could argue is lacking on SmackDown.

Meltzer didn’t have much else concrete to say, though he did speculate about two women potentially switching brands. From what we saw on the episodes after Mania, he says that we could see a Charlotte-Alexa Bliss swap.

Obviously this is all rumors and speculation until it actually happens. WWE is notorious for switching plans at the last minute. However, these would all be sensible shake-ups, even if they’re only the tip of the iceberg as for what could transpire.
