Brad Keselowski is the defending race winner at Talladega, and winning for the second year in a row would be even more significant for the driver of the No. 2 Team Penske entry given that he came in second in last week’s Toyota Owners 400. Keselowski will be hungry to follow up being second by finishing first.

Yet will fans be looking at Keselowski and Joey Logano closer following the announcement that Logano’s win at the Toyota Owners 400 was declared “encumbered” by NASCAR? The No. 22 Team Penske entry failed technical inspection after reaching Victory Lane at Richmond and now the team is facing the consequences.

Logano will be in the hunt for another victory in the GEICO 500, despite working with a different shot-caller as crew chief Todd Gordon was suspended for the next two races.
