The Patriots have gone through four ring ceremonies for their previous Super Bowl titles in the last 15 years, but the fifth was just as special Friday night.

While everyone awaits the real point of the New England Patriots having a Super Bowl 51 ring ceremony on Friday night, the team did showcase their new bling in a video on their Twitter account.

At this point, after the team has gone through four of these events in the course of 15 years, they tend to get stale. I mean, who really needs enough rings to literally fill an entire hand? The real treasure comes from Tom Brady and his teammates celebrating with some adult beverages at the event, after getting their icy new hardware.

Either way, as sarcastic as you can act about this, the Patriots’ new rings are actually pretty nice, and this hype video-like release on their team Twitter account made it look especially special for such a historic Super Bowl win. And yes, the Patriots are a really big team, and they need some really big rings.

The ring features five Super Bowl trophies on it, and showcases just how far the Kraft family is willing to go to celebrate their title wins. It’s also inscribed with the words “Greatest comeback ever” to commemorate their 25- point comeback in the second half against the Atlanta Falcons in Super Bowl 51 a few months ago.

The best part of the whole ring is the true bling of it all, as its loaded with 283 diamonds, in honor of the score that the Patriots came back from beginning in the third quarter of the big game.

The team has already filed trademarks to commemorate a potential drive for a repeat and their sixth ring of the century, but for now, they can enjoy the fresh new jewels on their finger.
