In one very classy act, Triple H paid a visit to a hero from the recent horrific London Bridge attack.

Back on June 3, the horrific London Bridge terror attack occurred, with three men plowed through people with a van and then proceeded to start stabbing, killing seven people and injuring another 48. One of the heroic people fortunate enough to come away from this disgusting act was London police officer Charlie Guenigault, who also happens to be a huge WWE fan.

On that night, Guenigault was off-duty, wearing a Sami Zayn shirt, when he charged at the attackers in heroic fashion, suffering some pretty sever stab wounds in the process. He required emergency surgery, but has come away from everything just fine.

Well, Guenigault was recently rewarded for his amazing efforts with a surprise visit from none other than Triple H, who had a gift for him in the form of a custom WWE Championship belt. You can view photos of the amazing interaction here.

To make the meeting even more special, Triple H showed Guenigault a personal message from none other than Sami Zayn himself.

Triple H had this to say about Guenigault as well.

“To run in the direction of a scary situation that can’t even be described in words, to help others … for that to be your instinct to help others … that is a hero,” said Triple H. “People say a lot of times that they watch WWE because these guys are like real-life superheroes. Well, Charlie is a real hero.”

For all of the complaints we make about WWE as fans on a regular basis, there’s no denying they time and time again go out of their way to make someone’s day special who truly deserves it. That’s something no one can knock the company for, and this is yet another awesome example of that right here. Cheers to Guenigault on continuing a speedy recovery.
