Everyone’s typically used to watching Marshawn Lynch break tackles and fight for extra yardage, but it turns out he can be a beast on the soccer field too.

As fans, we’re all used to seeing Marshawn Lynch sport his Seattle Seahawks No. 24 uniform, fight past defenders and muscle his way for every extra yard. Remember the play against the New Orleans Saints in the NFL Playoffs that gave him the nickname “Beast Mode?”

So we’ve seen that version of Lynch, where he can terrorize opposing defensive coordinators on the football field. But the Raiders’ running back can also do it in a different sport — soccer.

It was on Sunday, during the Zakuani and Friends charity game hosted by the Seattle Sounders. Lynch came back to his former city and was a part of one of the biggest highlights of the day.

Lynch forgot that the game of soccer is played with your feet, as he picked up the ball and barreled towards the goal. The referee immediately held up the red card, which Lynch proceeded to grab out of his hand and fling into the air.

Lynch sported his usual No. 24 on the field and showed off why he belongs on the football field, not soccer field, as a running back. The opposing team just stood and watched in awe as they looked scared to even step in front of the Beast Mode.

The charity game was for former Sounders’ player Steve Zakuani. It featured a lot of popular athletes, with Chad “Ochochino” Johnson getting in on the festivities.

Don’t worry Raiders fans, Lynch isn’t going to retire and switch to soccer. He’d much rather not play with his feet, based on his actions in this charity game. Lynch is gearing up for a return out of retirement, as he is going to suit up for his hometown Oakland Raiders. Expectations are sky-high for the Raiders and Lynch, but Beast Mode seems to be in chill mode, enjoying his offseason.
