Marcus Peters says Chiefs will ‘beat dogs**t’ out of Marshawn Lynch

Kansas City Chiefs defensive back and Oakland native Marcus Peters has strong words for new Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch.
Marcus Peters has thrown down the gauntlet with the Oakland Raiders and more specifically, new running back Marshawn Lynch. Peters, an Oakland native and friend of Lynch, told the Bay Area News Group that when it comes time for the Chiefs to play the Raiders, well…
"“It’s going to be a good feeling, It’s going to be a good feeling for Oakland. But when we come here, we’re going to beat the dog (expletive) out of him”"
Peters is set to enter his third year in the NFL, and has quickly established himself as a star after two straight Pro Bowl seasons. A first-round pick by the Chiefs in 2015 from the University of Washington, Peters and Lynch have long been friends having grown up in the same area of Oakland.
Regardless of the comments, this will be a year to watch for both the Chiefs and Raiders. Aided in a small part to the injury to Derek Carr, the Chiefs are the defending AFC West Champions. After an offseason that saw the dismissal of general manager John Dorsey and the release of Jeremy Maclin, Kansas City enters the 2017 season with some questions but a lot of talent and promise on both sides of the ball.

The Raiders have become the ‘hot’ team in some pundits minds to win the West, and challenge for not only the division, but to possibly unseat the New England Patriots as the team to beat in the AFC. The future move out of Oakland to Las Vegas and questions about the Raiders defense will have to be answered for this team to be a true contender.
