With only a few days left in the Tour de France, time is running out for the field to catch Chris Froome.

If anyone is going to take down Chris Froome in the Tour de France, they have two days to make a move. With three stages left and only two actually being competitive for the yellow jersey, the Tour de France is racing to a close.

With a lead of 23 seconds, Froome is feeling confident heading into Stage 19 on Friday. Extending his lead any further would virtually all but lock up yet another title for him. This is also going to be the longest stage of the tour.

Date: Friday, July 21, 2017

This stage won’t have the climbs that some of the other ones did, but it’s going to test the cyclists on distance. This will be one of those races that ends with a sprint to the finish line. With Marcel Kittel having dropped out, another sprinter will have a chance to rise and pick up a stage win.

Next: Every state's Mt. Rushmore

Team Sky has been so dominant as a group that any challenge to Froome has been thwarted. They know how to work as a group and isolate any cyclists that attempt to make a move on the yellow jersey.

After the long trek on Friday, Saturday will be the last ultimate test. With the way things are lining up, it’s looking like yet another year of glory for Froome on the biggest stage in cycling. He certainly has earned it.
