NFL Week 1 Announcing Schedule

One of the great things about the NFL is how fan bases from various teams can be found all across the world and the country. One negative about the widespread population of fan bases, however, is that your favorite team’s game may not always be broadcast in your area.

There are ways to take care of that whether you choose the NFL Game Day package on Direct TV but that is not always the most feasible option.

Thanks to the fine people at The506.com, we are able to provide a map of what game is being broadcast where for week one of the NFL regular season. More importantly, who will be calling the game you will get the pleasure of seeing or be forced to watch.

The two games that will be broadcast in the most areas come courtesy of FOX Sports in week one. Their early game — the Washington Redskins at New Orleans Saints — and afternoon double-header — San Francisco 49ers at Green Bay Packers — will be the most watched games.

It really comes as no surprise, especially the decision to air the 49ers at Packers to the most viewers. For that game, Joe Buck and Troy Aikman will be making the call. Kenny Albert, Daryl Johnston, Tony Siragusa will have duties for the Redskins – Saints game.

The main broadcasting duo for CBS Sports is Jim Nantz and Phil Simms who will call the Patriots – Titans game.

Here is a full list of game/broadcaster matchups:
