Ole Miss guard Marshall Henderson is one of the most polarizing figures in college basketball. Scratch that. Marshall Henderson is the most polarizing figure in college basketball. Henderson is always one to cause a reaction from the crowd whether it be good or bad and it was no different on Sunday night whenever Ole Miss was eliminated from the tournament by La Salle.

Henderson was leaving the court and heard some comments he didn’t like from the crowd, so he sent a double one-fingered salute to the crowd.

The controversial guard told reporters after the game that the crowd was shouting derogatory things about his sister and throwing out comments about cocaine, so he responded in an emotional way like he always tends to do.

If this was any other player, you could criticize him and wonder what was going through his head, but this is Marshall Henderson being Marshall Henderson. His erratic behavior and the screws loose in his head are part of what made him one of the most entertaining college basketball players throughout the season.

College basketball needs villains like this.
