The Wyoming Cowboys are looking to freshen up the fan experience at homes games and they have decided to do that with a new field design for the 2013 season. Images of the new field design surfaced on Tuesday and it was met with mixed reactions.

While there is very little you can do to impress with the horrible yellow and brown color scheme that Wyoming uses, but the new field design is actually pretty impressive and unique. I have always been a fan of the light and dark green alternating every five-yards and the endzone design looks great with the mountains coming from the goal line and the two-tone font in the endzone.

For what I was expecting from Wyoming, this has exceeded my imagination.

It’s not quite up there with some of the better fields in college football, but Wyoming’s definitely stands out and will catch your attention. It is just a shame one of their main colors is brown.
